Meditation - Affirmations for Self Acceptance

Today's episode of the One Whole Being Podcast is all about cultivating self-acceptance.

This is a practice that has helped me so much. There was a time when I hated looking in the mirror and I was driven to all sorts of self-sabotaging behaviours. Learning to accept myself changed all that, so I am excited to share this with you.

Self-acceptance is an acknowledgement and recognition of who you are. Often, there can be a great deal of judgement, resistance and resentment towards ourselves. There can be parts that we dis-like and this causes tension. There can be parts that we hate and this causes self-hatred. It can feel like there is a battle going on inside and this causes a lot of difficult thoughts, painful emotions and self-sabotaging behaviours. By taking time to accept yourself, just as you are, you can let go of the inner battle and be with what is here. This is a huge step towards inner freedom and realizing your greatness.

There is a deep well-spring of goodness within you. Self-acceptance can help you discover that and honour who you are. You can forgive yourself for any mistakes, be gentle and kind to any inner wounds, and celebrate your unique gifts and talents.

Self-acceptance is the doorway to self-love, which is a catalyst for true change in your life.

There are many ways to grow self-acceptance. In today's podcast, you will experience one. I will read to you a collection of powerful affirmations on self-acceptance. As you listen, tune into the feeling of acceptance. Let it grow and flourish within you. This will create neurological and emotional pathways that support you to feel better about yourself.

As always, repeated listens embed the shift. We are creatures of habit, so the more you practice self-acceptance, the more natural and spontaneous it will be.
