đź’ś Talk and Guided Meditation - Transforming Your Relationship with Your Heart (Re-Release)
This week's episode of One Whole Being is a talk and guided meditation on Transforming Your Relationship with Your Heart.
This practice is key to feeling more love, joy and emotional freedom.
We each have a heart chakra. This is the energetic field at the center of our emotions. The place where we feel what it is to be human and alive. And although this is a gift, it's not always easy having a heart.
Sometimes our hearts can play deeply challenging emotional notes, such as grief, anger and jealousy.
These painful notes can cause us to try and control our hearts... to close them down so we don't have to feel.
This, in turn, can cause us to get lost in the thoughts of our minds, so we don't have to feel the raw, tender intimacy of our own hearts.
This closing and controlling of our hearts stops our natural energy from flowing up into the higher chakras.
It blocks us from being able to truly give and receive the love of our lives.
However, the good news is that we can change this by shifting our relationship to our own hearts.
This means taking time to feel, accept and welcome all our emotions.
We can choose to set our hearts free to do whatever they need to do.
We can choose to trust in the wisdom of our hearts to release the trapped emotions that are stored down there.
We can let them come up and out of our energetic systems, clearing the way for our natural energy to flow.
We can choose to love our hearts and embrace the immense gift of being here... being alive... and being able to feel.
In time, we can step back and see that we are the consciousness that is watching the heart.
We are the awareness that sees the great dance of emotion that happens within as we move through our lives.
This brings an inner spaciousness and peace that means we can watch the shifting dramas of our own hearts, without being sucked into them.
In today's talk, we will go deeper into these ideas, with a guided meditation on taking those first steps to setting your heart free.
Stay golden,
Martin
