This week's episode of One Whole Being is a mini-guided session for feeling more love.
When I was younger, I thought that love was something outside of myself. Something that somebody else could give or not give. I yearned for love, yet it rarely seemed to appear. And this led to many tears on my part.
Through listening to wise teachers and learning to let go, I see and feel love differently these days.
Now my thoughts on love are like this...
Love is a natural aspect of who we are.
It is one of our inner resources. And there is an abundant supply within.
We can open our hearts to give more love.
And we can attune ourselves to receive more love.
We can give loving kindness to ourselves. And we can choose to give it away, knowing there is more than enough to go around.
When we give love without expectations, it naturally returns.
We can love our bodies, our hearts and our minds.
We can love all of our emotions. Even the painful ones. Especially the painful ones!
Love is a field of radiant energy that we can all tap into.
We can let go of our energetic blockages and let love flow freely.
We can choose to turn our attention toward the bright light of love and bathe in it, to our heart's content.
And we can spread our inner wings and be gently lifted upon the winds of unconditional love.
